Most recently Cumberland worked with SJT Associates and Debenhams on this full store refurbishment in Chelmsford, Essex. Areas were refurbished and handed back to the client on a phased basis. The store is made up of three sales floor areas, along with back of house stockrooms and offices. As the store continued to trade throughout, consideration was needed towards staff and customers and the programme of works when developed, reflected this to allow for as much area of the store to continue to trade at any one time.
Cumberland has worked with the Debenhams team since 2012 on store re-models, upgrade works and concession installs so it was a privilege to have been awarded another sizeable project and believe the success of having delivered this project on time is due to the strength of our in-house capabilities.
We will endeavour to continue with the development of a sustainable and long term relationship with Debenhams for the ensuing years ahead.
