Eltham Palace is located within the Royal Borough of Greenwich, South East London and is managed by our client, English Heritage who restored the building in 1999 and opened it to the public.
Cumberland were delighted to have been recommended by the Project Managers Bailey Gomm to be involved in English Heritage’s New Interpretation and Representation Project. For Cumberland the project consisted of the electrical upgrade and alterations and associated building works to several areas of Eltham Palace, including the Italian Drawing Room, Virgina’s bedroom, Basement Billiard Room and Map Room to name a few.
After a £1.7 million project Eltham Palace reopened on 3 April 2015 with five new rooms for the public to enjoy.
